Jayce Alexander Martin, 2 ½, passed away Wednesday, July 18th, 2018, at home.
Jayce enjoyed picking flowers, riding scooters, showing off his amazing dance moves, loving his mommy, and cuddling. He often went on adventures to hunt trolls with his partner in crime, Prince, and steal the hearts of all who met him. If he wasn’t out vanquishing trolls and dragons, he could be found defeating bad guys like his hero, Batman, going down slides, building Lego creations, playing sports, or jamming to his favorite song (The Weekend by Brantley Gilbert). After a long day of adventuring, he would come home to refuel with apples and peanut butter, red grapes, or watermelon, before helping his mom clean the kitchen, wash dishes, and tidy up his room like a true gentleman.
He is survived by his parents Tori and Robert, stepfather Johnathan, brother Aries, grandparents Candy, Steve, and Mara, great-grandmother Carol, uncles Louis, Jay, Steven, Brandon, and Mikeal, aunt Ayla, cousins Bryce and Aniyah, and two beloved dogs, Prince and Honey.
Your eyes reflect how much he was loved and your smile shows all the joy he brought to you. Hold onto to all those magical moments and sweet memories of such a beautiful boy.
Prayers and love to all.

Those we love never die. They unfortunately sometimes depart before we do.
Be strong for him; be strong for each other and most of all be strong for yourselves.
You are surrounding by so many people that love him and love each of you.
My heart aches for all of you during this time of great loss.

A poem by Aron Tranner
Tear drops are falling. We embrace this day. A sweet little baby has just passed away. So perfect his spirit, so perfect his love, so perfect a gift from above.
Our child, your family is grieving this day. In our hearts God has told us why you couldn’t stay. A spirit so special, so perfect and pure, should not have the trails of this life to endure.
You wanted a family, that’s why you came. To be loved on earth and given a name. Then back to our Heavenly Father you went, fulfilling the mission for which you were sent.
Although our grief is heavy this day, we know you are happy and not far away. Loved ones have gathered close to your side. Life is Eternal,,, you’ve not died.
