Imogene Mathis (Tiny) Clark formerly of Ocoee, Florida, currently residing in Lake Park, Georgia, left this life in the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 10, 2019 at age 85. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family with all of her heart.
Imogene was a meticulous homemaker, avid gardener with a green thumb, loved painting figurines, and coloring pictures. Imogene worked at Spring Lake Elementary School in Ocoee, Florida as a Teacher’s aide until she retired. Imogene graduated from Jennings High School in Jennings, Florida in 1952. She attended Lake Park Church of God in Lake Park, Georgia. Imogene was born on May 12, 1934 in Jennings, Florida, to the late Georgia Lou Mathis and Alex E. Mathis. She was preceded in death by James N. Crews (husband) and Shelby Clark (husband), James Lavon (Von) Crews (son); brothers, George Mathis, Bruce Mathis, and Bobby Mathis; Daniel Crews (grandson); Lilly Anna Rayne Crews (great grand daughter) and beloved dog, "Z Z".
She leaves behind a daughter and devoted son-in-law, Deborah and Ronnie Sauls; sons, Faris Crews, Shawn Clark (Leslie); daughter-in-law, Kim Crews; her cat, Abigail; grandchildren: Claudia Sauls Green, Kris Sauls, Kyle Crews (Jessica), Cami Crews, Jeni-Lee Burnett (Heath), Matt Crews, Kendall Clark, Daniel Brockman (Andrea) and Sarah Clark; great grandchildren: Seth Law, Chloe Green, Sophia Lindsey-Sauls, Hunter Crews, Trevor and Madison Burnett, Brayden, Brycen, and Brynn Crews, Kinsley and Carter Mackey, Hannah and Carlie Brockman; two sisters and one brother: Frances Johnston, Jimmy Matthews (Betty), and Jan Tatch.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 1 pm, in the chapel of Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home at 1148 East Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida, 34787. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 am until 1 pm. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
