Rose Stevens

Rose Stevens, 74, passed away on July 25, 2022, in Clermont, FL.

Rose Stevens was born on June 15, 1948 in Hampton Bays, NY, to Richard L. Miller, Sr. and Elizabeth Miller.

Rose attended Hampton Bays high school. She worked as a waitress and bartender in various establishments on Long Island's South Shore and finished her career as a Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Hobe Sound, FL

Rose married Ira Stevens on November 1, 1978 in East Quogue, NY.

Rose was best known for her outgoing nature, self reliance and sharp tongue. She will be missed by her siblings, the many nieces and nephews and her favorite group of seniors from the Taft-Vineland Community Center which she loved dearly.

Rose is survived by her two sons Peter F. Smith of Orlando, FL and Eric C. Smith of Jensen Beach, FL. Other survivors include brothers: Richard L. Miller, Jr, David Michael Miller, Fredrick W. Miller and sisters: Althea Phillips and Joann Caulton.

Rose is preceded in death by Richard Miller, Sr. - father, Elizabeth Miller - mother, Ira Stevens - spouse, and Virginia Rogers - sister

No public service for Rose will be held.
