Angelita Silguero

September 21, 1950 — May 17, 2019

Winter Garden

Our beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, ANGELITA SILGUERO, 68, passed away on May 17, 2019, at 2:15 a.m. at Orlando Health Central Hospital.  Her entire family was by her side, including her mother, her sisters and brother, her 5 children, Mary, Patricia, Leo, Dominic, and Kevin; her 8 grandchildren Raul A., Vanessa, Leo Jr., Tiffany, Vicente, Christian, Alexia, and Joshua.

Angelita was the second of fourteen children of Leopoldo & Olga V. Silguero, born on September 21, 1950, in Harlingen, Texas.   “Angie” as she was affectionately known, grew up in La Feria, Tx and Winter Garden, Fl.  She went to La Feria High School and could accomplish anything she set her mind to do.

She was a member of and regularly attended her catholic church.

As a young teenager she loved and cared for her younger siblings.  She grew to care for all of her family members, including her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.  As a mother and homemaker, she raised five wonderful children who are all young adults.   As the 2nd oldest sister of 14 in all, she was a mother-figure to many children including Rebecca, Melissa, Michael, Blaine, Cruz, Diana, Richard, Robert, Randy, April, Stephanie, Melinda, Guadalupe, Jr, Heather, and Daniel.

Angie loved life and loved to shop, go to yard sales, visit with her family and listening to Selena and Tejano music.  She especially loved spending quality time with her dear mother, the matriarch of the Silguero family, sitting out on the porch almost every day, relaxing, talking about life and sharing stories of all the many special things going on in the lives of her children and their families.

She touched the lives of countless souls and was loved very much by all.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren, her mother, her 11 sisters Gloria, Sylvia, Gracy, Emily, Olga, Letty, Yolanda, Bertha, Martha, Janie and Marisela, and her brother Ricardo (Ricky), their spouses, her nieces and nephews, many loved ones and friends.

She succeeds her beloved father and her beloved brother Leo, Jr.

The family and friends are grieving their loss but are strong in their faith—knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend is now in heavenly paradise.  May our angel Angie rest eternally at peace in the hands of our Heavenly Father.  Pray for peace and continued health and prosperity for her children and grandchildren and the entire Silguero family.

A service will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 2pm at the Resurrection Catholic Church located at 1211 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Winter Garden, 34787, 407-656-3113.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm at the Funeral Home.

Condolences may be sent to Angie’s daughter Mary.  Please call 321-695-8202 or Letty at 805-559-4444 for details.
