Barbara Jo Behling

June 16, 1965 — May 3, 2026

Barbara Behling age 60, of Altamonte Springs, passed away peacefully on 05/03/2026.

She was a bright light to everyone who knew her - funny, sassy, strong-willed, and deeply caring. She loved fiercely and spent her life putting others before herself, always making sure everyone around her was taken care of. Her love, humor, and honesty left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

She proudly worked for Orlando Health for 22 years as as a team leader in the Environmental services department, where her co-workers became an extension of her family.

She loved all things Snoopy and Charlie Brown, even giving her grandsons nicknames inspired by the characters. She never turned down a game of Phase 10 or Yahtzee - and she would quickly remind everyone that she never "cheated." She loved garage sales, thrift stores, Diet Coke, peach tea, and finding joy in life's simple moments. She was never afraid to speak her mind or call someone out or use her "bad reflexes", and those who loved her will forever cherish her wit, strength, and unforgettable personality.

She is survived by son Jeffery Behling, and daughter Shannon Noggle, grandsons Zechariah(Charlie brown) & Bradley (Snoopy).

Siblings, Debbie (Bob) Green, Gene (Nicole) Hinkle, Diane (Jeff) Froemming, and Shannon (Steve) Sosa.

Nieces and nephews- Brittnay (Adrian) Makayla, AJ, and Lexie.

Geno (Nia), Noah, Aalliyah.

Jordy, Dominic.

Emily, Kaedyn, Liam.

Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Bridget, Jacob, Sarah, Graham.

As well as extended family and friends that she has "adopted" throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Linda Scharaldi. Dad Forest Hinkle. Step dad Peter Scharaldi.

Though divorced, she remained close friends with her former husband, Jeffrey Behling until his passing in 2016.

A Celebration of Life will be held on 06/03/2026 at Collison Funeral Home in Winter Garden at 11am. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her memory.
