Barbara Coy

Barbara J. McCoy, 74 of Davenport, Florida passed away on November 14, 2013. She was born on June 22, 1939 in Wayne County, West Virginia. She retired as a receptionist from the Watson Clinic and was active in the community serving as a volunteer at the Padgett Elementary School in Lakeland. She was also a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of The Villages. Barbara loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren being the best Grandma she could be. Barbara was married for 55 years to her loving husband, James W. McCoy, and she is survived by her children: Jason Claire McCoy and Jamie OConnor by her brothers and sisters: Reth, Ken, Larry, Joann, Junior, Mary, Charlie and Dave and by her grandchildren: Kristin Shea OConnor, Austin Scott McCoy, Jordan Nicole OConnor, Jaclyn Danielle OConnor and Ashlyn Elaine McCoy.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Florida with Reverend Bob Perry officiating.
