Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Lee Pitman, (Ret.) died the morning of July 19, 2025. A resident of Central Florida, LTC Pitman was born in Owensboro, KY, graduated from Murray State University, and retired from the U. S. Army a decorated war veteran. LTC Pitman worked at Walt Disney World as a Security Manager for the past eleven years.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Christina Parker Pitman; his children, Sarah Pitman and Jacob Pitman; his mother Karen Miller; and his sisters, Jennifer Pitman, Stephanie Barber, and Pamela Motley; his father Richard Pitman; and many nieces and nephews. He is also greatly missed by his dog, George.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5PM to 8PM at the Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 E. Plant Street., Winter Garden, FL. A time of prayer, remembrance, and military honors will begin at 6:00 p.m.

A second memorial service will also be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at Christ Tabernacle, 1839 US 62 W, Princeton, KY 42445.
