).In loving memory of Dennis Wade Duckwiler
June 18, 1953 - January 18, 2026
With heavy and filled hearts, we share that Dennis, aged 72, passed away on January 18th, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Born June 18th, 1953, in Canton, Illinois.
Dennis spent his life building a family and legacy rooted in love, trust, and quiet strength. He was the kind of man who demonstrated his love for others through his actions. He was steady, dependable, and always there when anyone needed him. He carried himself with a calming presence and a big heart, always offering guidance, protection, and support without asking for recognition.
To those who knew him best, Dennis was more than just a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend-he was the foundation of our family. Leaving behind the love of his life, his wife, Lisa Duckwiler. He was a proud father to his children: Justin Duckwiler, Jeremy Duckwiler, Ryan Brooks, Ashley Moore, and Lindsey Aldridge, and welcomed his children-in-law-Jennifer Duckwiler, John Allison, Abbey Brooks, and Justin Aldridge-as his own.
One of Grandpa's greatest joys was being a grandfather. He cherished every moment with his grandchildren: Gaven Ganley, Jade Duckwiler, Kaley Brooks, JT Allison, Izzy Dillon, Landon Duckwiler, Lily Moore, Lucas Reynolds, Cora Allison, Addisyn Brooks, Adeline Aldridge, James Aldridge, and Nolan Aldridge. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he was overjoyed with pride as he watched them grow.
He is survived by his brother, Gale Duckwiler, his wife Susan, and his sister, Carol Duckwiler-Lippold, her husband Neal. Preceded in death by his brothers Bill, Raymond, Damon, and sister Sandra.
Dennis will be remembered as a man with deep love for his family and friends. His life was not defined just by loud words, but consistent love, sacrifice, and devotion to those he cared for most. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every moment we shared with him. His love will live on through his family, through his friends, and his memory will remain forever in our hearts.
