Egbert Clarke

Egbert Anthony Clarke,(known as Bert or Eggie) age 79, of Winter Garden, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Born in Colon, Republic of Panama to Walter and Violet Clarke, Bert lived his life in Kingston, Jamaica, Brooklyn, New York, Arlington, Texas and Winter Garden, Florida. He was a Crew Chief for American Airlines Line Cargo. He received many awards during his lifetime, including awards for Track & Field, Body Building and numerous awards during his career with American Airlines. Bert loved to socialize, even starting a dance club as a young man in Jamaica.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Grace) Clarke; his children Denise, Robert, Sharon and Christina; and his grandchildren Anthony, Antonia, Lynette, Jeffery, Johnathan, Brendon, Phillip, DeVaughn,Lailah, Sydnee, Kia, Andrew, Xavier and Gracie.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, 12 PM, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home Chapel.  A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Orlando Memorial Gardens.

The chapel service will be live streamed starting at approximately 12:30 and recorded for those unable to attend.
