Eleanor Brown

July 14, 1944 — March 23, 2021

Eleanor (Bunny) Brown, 76, a retired Administrative Assistant at Kennedy Space Center, passed away on March 23, 2021 at the William Childs Hospice House.  She was born in Massachusetts to Noel and Sarah Peters.  The youngest of five sisters.

Through her life she raised two children and attended Antioch College where she earned a Master’s Degree.

She met her present husband, Ted, in 2007.  They were married on September 27, 2008, a great mix of family and friends.

Her best interest and time were working at the Central Baptist Food Pantry where she and Ted were members.  She worked there at the pantry until health issues prevented it.

She was also involved with the Central Florida Ceramic Club where she held several offices.

When she and Ted retired, she had the opportunity to travel with friends and family throughout the world.

Some of the best times were celebrating holidays with friends and family where as many as 30-35 people gathered at the house.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; one sister; five children; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

The family request no flowers but, instead, memorial contributions to the MS Foundation or Alzheimer’s Research.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, 1pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.
