Lorrie Bernal

Hattie "Lorrie" Bernal, 93, of Orlando, Fl. passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 after battling several health issues in the hospital, including Covid. Lorrie was born in Marcellus NY lived in Syracuse NY, Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL and finally in Orlando. Surviving are her sister Dorothea Randall, her son Donald (Teresa) Wadsworth, step daugher Dana Bernal, two grandchildren Lauren and Benjamin, three step grandchildren Ryan, Kaitlin and Karinne, and several great-grandchildren.

She was an active member of College Park Presbyterian Church, a church elder, and member of the Women's circle. She loved to sew and made many clothes for church outreach programs around the world (India, Haiti, Cuba).  Besides sewing, over her lifetime, Lorrie enjoyed canning, knitting, crocheting, square dancing, playing softball, bowling, playing cards (Pitch), watching football on TV, and she enjoyed all of her grandchildren.

Services will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home (407-877-6700), Winter Garden Fl. on Saturday October 14: Viewing from 11-12, Service at 12 followed by refreshments and light lunch. Interment at Orlando Memorial Gardens will immediately follow.
