Ian Brent Keathley, 44 of Minneola, Florida, passed away on December 4, 2021. Ian Keathley was born April 17, 1977 in Dallas Texas to loving parents Danny and Marsha Keathley. Ian proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. During his time of service, he was deployed three times to Iraq.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Melissa Keathley; three sons, Justin, Aden, and Danny Keathley, of Minneola; his father, Danny Keathley and wife, Pam, of Denver, Colorado, his mother, Marsha Keathley, of Winter Garden; sister, Marta Keathley, of Simi Valley, California; brother-in-law, Andy Mundi; a large extended family; and many friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, at 10AM, in which a live stream will be available for those who can not attend. The link can be found below on December 28, 2021 at the time of the service. The Graveside Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, details are currently pending.
In lieu of flowers we are asking friends and family to donate to burnpits360 using Ian’s memorial fund. Burn Pits 360 is the only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to offer an independent burn pit exposure registry in which family members can record the names of warriors who served the nation but have passed away due to illnesses from toxic injury. They are entirely dedicated to improving post-deployment health outcomes for current and former military personnel, especially those who are suffering from emerging, complicated, or unexplained post-deployment health concerns arising from service in our post-9/11 wars and previous conflicts.
