Jack Spradley

Jack Roland Spradley, 80, of Melbourne, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife Mary “Joyce”; his children: Jack, Jr. and Melanie Godsey (Larry); his grandson Corey Allen (Anastasia); his nephew Mike Hammons and niece Sherry Steagall. He was predeceased in death by his parents JP and Inez Spradley and sister, Gwen Hammons Price.

Jack spent his working career as an IT Professional. He worked for Martin Marietta for 26 years where he rose through the ranks to become the Director of Data Systems prior to his retirement. He then went on to be an IT Consultant for various businesses until his final retirement in 2004. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and his favorite dog “Dixie”.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 10 am at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Winter Garden Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the funeral home.
