James Floyd

James B. “Shorty” Floyd, 81, of Ocoee, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020.  He was born October 29, 1939, in Chancellor, Alabama to the late James and Frances Floyd.  Shorty was a retired truckdriver and attended Vineland Road Christian Fellowship.

James is survived by his wife of 52 years Janice; three children, Lowell (Erika), Chandra (James), and Kenny (Christy); four grandchildren, Christina, Taylor, Emily, and Caleb; and three great grandchildren, Bryan, Trevor and Cameron.  In addition to his parents, Shorty was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Erin; and his siblings, Charles, Albert, William, and Juanita.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020, 11am, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.  Pastor Matthew Chester from Vineland Road Christian Fellowship will officiate the service.  Interment will follow in Ocoee Cemetery.
