Joanne Poteat

Joanne Marie Poteat, age 53, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away on December 4,2018 with her loving family by her bedside. Joanne was a longtime member of Ocoee Oaks United Methodist Church and served in the Stephens Ministry. She had a very strong faith and as everyone who knew her can testify, she loved people and had a heart of gold. Joanne was a very caring, giving, selfless person who was always smiling. Joanne was a loving wife and mother . One of her greatest joys was teaching Eric and Kaitlin. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Joanne is survived by her husband; Daniel Frank Poteat Jr., children; Eric and Kaitlin Poteat, parents; Thomas and Theresa Saladyga, and brothers; Mark and Dale Saladyga.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made either to Ocoee Oaks United Methodist Church or the Hospice of the Comforter.
