Joe Fungone

Joe Fungone, of Ocoee, died August 19, 2023 with his wife by his side.

Joe was born on August 10, 1962 in Lake Worth, Florida to Wanda Eads and the late Michael Fungone. He was retired and spent a lot his spare time fishing and hunting. He spent whatever time he could with family. Joe LOVED ALL OF HIS FAMILY. He had a very deep love for each and ever one of them… and was very proud of his Italian heritage.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Debbie Fungone, his mother Wanda Eads; his children, Michael Fungone, Amanda Lovell (Robert Lovell), Matthew Fungone, Jennifer McVay, Rickey McVay (Jasmine), and Kelly Duncan (Tim Duncan). He is survived by his brother Frank Fungone (Amy Fungone), brother John Fungone, and sister Cathy Davis (Kevin Davis). Joe is predeceased by his brother Mikey, his father Michael, and step-son Brandon. Joe also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Joe never met a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off of his back.

Joe married Debbie Fungone on October 16, 1999 in Green Acres, Florida. They were together for 30 years.

There will be a Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 26 at Temple Free Will Baptist Church in Winter Garden, Florida. Visitation starts at 3:00 pm for family and friends. Funeral Service starts at 4:00pm.
