Kevin Butz

Kevin Joseph Butz, 39, of Winter Garden, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019.

Kevin was born in Hamilton, Ohio and graduated from Ross High School, Ross Ohio.  He married Yupa Ketchart in 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand.  In 2013 their son Dominic Joseph was born in Bangkok.  Kevin’s work carried him across the US and over most of Southeast Asia.  His 3+ years in Shanghai, China  managing work at one of the largest Disney projects was one of many highlights in his career.  Most recently he helped his company startup their new Orlando office.

Kevin was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and uncle.  He enjoyed traveling with Yupa and Joseph all over.  In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf.  He thoroughly enjoyed when his brothers and their families were visiting and the whole family was able to be together.

Kevin leaves behind his wife Yupa and their son Joseph of Winter Garden, Florida; father and mother, Randy and Diane Butz of Clearwater, Florida; brothers Kris (Cristina) of Daphne, Alabama and Eric (Rebekah) of Hamilton, Ohio; grandmother Alleen Butz, of Hamilton, Ohio;  grandmother Joann Silezin of Clearwater, Florida; three aunts and three uncles; three nieces and two nephews, and many friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2019, 1 pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
