Lee Malcolm McMillan Jr. passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024, in Lake Wales, Florida, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on November 16, 1953, in Orlando, Florida, Lee was a graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to touch many lives with his warm personality and infectious laugh.

 

Among his proudest accomplishments was his family whom he held dear to his heart. Lee is survived by his daughter, Brandy Gartrell, and grandson Wyatt Gartrell. He is also survived by his brothers George McMillan (Reyna), Neil McMillan (Sherry), sister Sally McMillan (Jan), sister-in-law Candy McMillan and his soulmate Carol McMillan. In the hearts of his surviving family, Lee's memory will also forever be cherished by other family and friends.

 

Lee was predeceased by his father Lee Malcolm McMillan Sr., mother Vella Florence McMillan, and brother John McMillan. Their memories together will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.

 

In addition to being a beloved family man, Lee was known for his hobbies which included hunting and fishing. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him can attest to the joy he found in nature and the outdoors at River Ranch.

 

A graveside service to honor and remember Lee Malcolm McMillan Jr. will be held 10 am on April 4, 2024, at Winter Garden Cemetery in Winter Garden, Florida. This opportunity to pay tribute to a life well-lived will provide solace to all who were touched by Lee's kindness and light.

 

As we bid farewell to Lee in this physical realm, let us carry forward the essence of his laughter and the warmth of his love in our own lives. May his spirit roam free in the vast beauty of nature he so cherished during his time on Earth.
