Lynn Jackson

Lynn Jackson, a long-time resident of the Orlando area, passed away on Sunday the 15th of October at Cornerstone Hospice.

She was born on May 19,1936 in Hickory, NC. to Otis Vance and Faye (Cooper) Black. She married Robert (Bob) Jackson on September 7, 1957 and was a loving wife and mother to their sons, Alan and Scott. Not only partners in marriage, after their sons were grown, Lynn and Bob purchased a business and worked together, side-by-side for many years.

Passionate in all aspects of life, Lynn was competitive in golf, bowling and cards. She was an excellent cook, a dear friend and had an energy that would light up a room.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Jackson, two sons, Alan (Tyler) Jackson and Scott (Jeanne) Jackson; four grandchildren; Francis Arden (Daniel) Purvis, Caroline (Christopher) Bush, Karly (David) Reimel and Delaney Jackson, all of whom brought great joy to her later years.

A memorial will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home of Winter Garden on Tuesday the 25th of October at 11:00 a.m.
