Lynn Morris

Lynn D. Morris passed away on May 20, 2024 at the age of 67. Born Lynn Elizabeth Daniel in Clermont, Florida to C. Welborn Daniel and Betty Janasik Daniel, Lynn attended both Clermont High School and Leesburg High School and later went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Southern University. 

Lynn was known and loved for her sharp sense of humor and her ability to make friends with just about anyone she encountered. She loved children and babies and was known as “Aunt Lynn” or “Grammie” to many. The joy of her life was raising her two daughters and later spending as much time as she could with her four grandchildren. Lynn enjoyed a successful career as an accountant and office manager before retiring. In her spare time, Lynn loved creative pursuits including paper crafting and painting.  

Lynn is survived by her husband, Tony Morris of Winter Garden, FL, her two daughters, Jamie (Delmar) Johnson of Winter Garden, FL,  and Kathryn Shores of Grayslake, IL, and her four grandchildren, Max Shores, Cooper Shores, Hadley Johnson, and Maisie Johnson. Lynn is also survived by her brother, Clay Daniel of Tampa, FL, and her stepmother, Carol Sue Daniel of Saint Cloud, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hill, and her father, the Honorable C. Welborn Daniel. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Lynn’s memory to the Children’s Ministries and Preschool at First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden, 125 N. Lakeview Ave., Winter Garden, FL 34787.
