October 9, 1927 — December 30, 2018

Marjorie Louise Bothell, 91, passed away December 30, 2018. She was born October 9, 1927 in Pennsylvania to Milo and Ruth Miller, one of nine children. She married Thomas Lawrence Bothell, a World War II veteran, in 1946. They had six children in Pennsylvania before moving to Central Florida in 1969. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband and two children, Douglas and Joyce, her mother and father, and seven siblings. She is survived by her sister, Martha Jean McCurdy (Dick), four children, Thomas Bothell (Cinda), Linda Jefferson (Charles, deceased), Janet Suazo (Craig), and David Bothell (Bonnie), nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was born again and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1951. She was called to serve as a teacher in Sunday School and taught Vacation Bible School, played piano, evangelized and had a nursing home ministry. She wrote evangelism tracts including:

Are Ye Able?

Religious or Redeemed?
The Impersonator.
The Miraculous Surrounding Christ's Birth.
God's Plan from Beginning to End.

She loved to travel and saw most of the United States, as well as Israel and enjoyed cruises.

Marjorie wrote the following lyrics, sung to a familiar tune:

I'm glad I'm a Christian
I'm happy and free;
Praise God for Salvation
He gave it to me.

My sins are forgiven
He died on a tree;
That I might have pardon
Throughout eternity.

He's now up in Heaven
Preparing for me;
A mansion in glory
With Him eternally.

Lyrics by Marjorie Bothell
Sung to the tune of "On Top of Old Smoky"
