Naomi Nash

Naomi Nash age 86 a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday evening in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Bryant and was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Hershel Nash Sr. and her daughter Jacqueline Nash in 2013.

Mrs. Nash was a member of the Peerless Rd. Church of God of Prophecy where she was very active in her Senior Citizen Group and as a volunteer. Her and her husband were foster parents to over 100 foster kids spanning over 30 years.

Survivors include her children Herschel "Buddy" Nash" Jr. and his wife Peggy of Winter Garden FL., Douglas Eugene Nash and his wife Cathy of Orlando FL., Tony Allan Nash, Sherri Wynn Nash both of Cleveland, Carol Oliver and her husband Tom of Collegedale TN., Cher Lynette Nash of Cloquet MN., and Christopher Michael Nash of Cleveland, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, her brother Eugene M. Bryant of Roanoke Rapids NC., sister in law Mattie Dechert of Fallston MD.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 1 o'clock Monday at The Peerless Rd. Church of God Of Prophecy with Pastor Brian Sutton and Rev. Joseph Bathe officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 11am until service time at 1pm at the Church. Grandsons will serve as casket bearers and her Senior Citizens Group will serve as honorary pallbearers. The interment for Mrs. Nash will be at a later date in the Winter Garden Cemetery in Winter Garden FL. Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
