On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, Oliverio Carrera, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 69.
Oliverio was born on April 26, 1951 in Sanarate, Guatemala to Pablo and Fermina Carrera. At the age of 22, Oliverio immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts in 1973. On October 27, 1977, he married Angela Cruz Carrera and raised one son, Pablo.
Oliverio had a dream of becoming an American Citizen, in which he accomplished on October 24, 1980. Moved his family in the summer of 1989 from Boston, MA to Orlando, Florida. A few years later, started a residential and commercial painting business. With a passion to grow and expand multiple businesses, a Gift Shop was the next endeavor. At a young age, he was a fanatic for the sport of futbol and taught young people the love of the sport, at Poinciana Youth Leagues. He was also an avid music lover and a huge fan of Vicente Fernandez. He was known for always providing for others and compassionate spirit.
Oliverio is survived by his wife, Angela, his son, Pablo, his brother Vitalino, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was loved by many and always made sure his family was provided for. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
