It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pam Smith Martin, age 77 on October 4th, 2023.

She peacefully left this world in Winter Garden, FL.

Pam Smith Martin will be deeply missed by James Martin, a loving spouse, including Ashley Martin - step-daughter and her husband James Lucia, Gary Smith and Mary Smith - Brother and Sister in-law. She was preceded in death by George and Josephine Smith - parents and Raymond Smith - brother.

Throughout her life, Pam was known for her kindness, generosity, & humor. Pam had a passion for crafts, culinary arts, and being an amazing hostess, which she enjoyed. Pam was one of the early residents at Lake Hickory Nut; she loved the lake and wanted to preserve water quality. Pam was the person who contacted the University of Florida to get the lake in the Lake Watch program. Pam felt very close to God at the lake and would pray daily, whether she was on her bicycle or sitting in her back yard.

A memorial service in memory of Pamela Smith Martin will be held October 20 at 11:30am at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 E. Plant St., Winter Garden, FL 34787.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel of Tower and or St. Jude Children's Hospital or your favorite charity in her name.

Pam Smith Martin's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
