Patrick Gleason

Patrick William Gleason
August 17, 1981 - September 25, 2016


Patrick Gleason was born and raised in Orange County Florida. He graduated from West Orange High School in 1999 where he was a four year member of the Warrior Marching Band. After high school Patrick attended and graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.

Patrick was an avid fan of the Florida Gators and the Minnesota Vikings. He loved tailgating, music, the arts and movies, (He could quote something from just about any movie), especially horror films and he looked forward to Halloween Horror Nights each year.

He worked for BestBuy while at the University of Florida and transferred to the Sanford location upon graduation where he was promoted to Operations Manager. Most recently he worked for hhgregg at the East Colonial location as a Sales Associate. Patrick was a natural sales professional, his customers loved him and he regularly received the highest scores in customer satisfaction ratings. His manager's loved him because of his high customer satisfaction ratings which provided them with a monthly bonus.

Patrick was one of the most caring and compassionate persons you could meet. He always found the good in people and looked to help others. He was passionate about equality for all and supported the LGBT Community. Patrick was a Democrat and was looking forward to voting for Hillary Clinton for President.

Patrick brought so much laughter, sunshine and happiness to all who met him. Patrick is already missed but will be forever loved by his family, friends and those whose lives he touched.

Patrick's parents are Jim and Cheryl Gleason of Winter Garden. His brother is Sean Gleason of Ocoee, sister in law Jen Gleason niece Jayda and nephew Landon. His grandmother is Pat Gleason of Ocoee.

Patrick's believed family and friends were everything and you should tell them every day that you love them because there may not be another chance. We were very fortunate to tell him how much we loved him before he passed, not everyone gets that opportunity. While we are deeply saddened at his loss we know he is no longer in pain.

We as his parents were overwhelmed at the love and out pouring of support for Patrick; we will never be able to thank you.

We will advise soon when and where we will have a party to celebrate Patrick's Life.
