Richard L. Largent went to meet the Lord on December 11, 2025, peacefully, at home with family, in Leesburg, Florida.
Richard was born on September 29,1941 to Richard B. and Christine Largent, in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Kingsbury High School, Class of "60". He joined the United States Air Force serving two tours in Vietnam and retired after 21 years. He continued his career with the United States Postal Service, working as a letter carrier at the Casselberry, FL Post Office for 25 years. Upon retiring from the postal service, he began a 10-year career with Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Twila Largent, children, Mark Largent (son), Becky Largent Hix (daughter) of Texas, Tami VanHeusen (stepdaughter), of Tavares, Florida, Ronnie VanHeusen (stepson), of The Villages, Florida, Jeffrey Haneline (stepson), of Leesburg, Florida, Stacie Haneline (stepdaughter), of Ohio and brother Joe Largent.
Richard is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces, 2 nephews and Krystle Sauers, who was like a granddaughter to him.
He was proceeded in death by John Largent (brother), of Apopka, FL.
Funeral services will be held on January 5, 2026.
