Roger Sheldon, 70, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, less than one month after celebrating his 70th birthday. He was born on August 17, 1956, in Remington, Indiana, and made Florida his home for nearly four decades.

For more than 30 years, Roger was the owner of Sheldon Insurance. He devoted an enormous part of his life to building and running his business, forming relationships and friendships along the way that lasted for many years.

But Roger's life was so much more than his work. He loved traveling, boats, sports cars, spending time with friends, and, of course, a really good steak. He knew how to enjoy the things he loved and worked hard to create a beautiful life for his family.

Above everything else, Roger was a husband and a father. He is survived by his wife, Viktoriia Sheldon, and their two children, Skylar Roger Sheldon and Skyla Viktoriia Sheldon. His family was his home, and the love, security, guidance, and memories he gave them will remain with them always.

Roger faced glioblastoma with tremendous strength. Even through an extraordinarily difficult chapter, the illness never became the definition of the life he had lived or the man he was.

He will be remembered as a strong, generous and hardworking man; a loyal friend; a loving father; and a deeply loved husband. To those closest to him, Roger was more than someone they loved - he was a source of strength, protection, friendship and trust.

His absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved him, but so does the life he built leave an immeasurable legacy.

Roger will be loved, remembered, and missed beyond words.
