Ronnie Lee Davis

March 12, 1949 — June 25, 2025

Ocoee

Ronnie Lee Davis, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born on March 12, 1949, in Orlando, Florida, to Nellie Ruby Davis (Taylor) and Ira H. Davis.

A graduate of Ocoee High School, Ronnie went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. He later married Rebecca Lynn Davis (Baucom), and together they raised three children: Tammy, Michelle, and Scott. Ronnie spoke lovingly of his family.

He spent his career as a machinist at Temple Inland, where he worked until his retirement. Ronnie had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially loved to fish. An avid movie-goer, he also enjoyed collecting films he had seen in theaters and playing his Xbox.

In the evenings, Ronnie could be found on his porch, often greeting neighbors as they passed by. He shared a special weekly tradition with his sister, Ruby Dunbar—dining together every Tuesday night at the Ocoee Denny’s, where the staff knew their order before they sat down, and every Friday night at Arby’s, where they were warmly welcomed.

Ronnie will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 East Plant Street Winter Garden, Florida 34787. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
