Obituary Rose M Singer

Rose Marie Singer, age 85 passed away on May 27, 2026 in Concord, NH. A memorial service will be held at Collison Carey Hand funeral home in Winter Garden, FL on July 18 at 11am

Rose was born in Sydney, NS Canada to Ernest and Jean Peters. She was the second oldest of 5 children (Robert, Rose, Anne, Francis (Bucky) and Laura). Their close knit family fostered lasting bonds between her siblings and extended family. She enjoyed figure skating as a child and got new skates every year for Christmas. She met and married Manfred Singer, a German immigrant, in the post WWII era. Following the birth of their first son Fredrick they moved to the suburbs south of Boston Massachusetts. Here the new family was completed with the Birth of their son Michael. After several years in their first home in Randolph Massachusetts, the family was again on the move to a new home in sunny Ocoee Florida. Rose enjoyed hosting family and friends in their Florida home and always had the banana bread at the ready. She enjoyed a long career as a drugstore clerk at Eckerd Drugs and record keeping for the family auto repair business. She also enjoyed several beautiful cars compliments of Manfreds skills as an auto mechanic. Her later years witnessed the growth of her family with the addition of 3 grand children and 2 great grandchildren all of which loved her banana bread and other baked goods and the Christmas "guess how much money is in the pickle jar" contest. In addition to family, she loved her cars, boating, bingo, puzzles, yard sales, gardening and travel.

Adult Children Fredrick Singer and wife Victoria of Ocoee, Fl, and Michael Singer and wife Brenda of Concord, NH.

Grandchildren Greg Singer and wife Jessica of Tavares, FL, Christina Singer of Concord, NH and AnnaRose Singer of Orlando, FL

Great Grand Children Gavin and Brooklyn Singer of Tavares, FL.
