Ruth Snyder

Snyder, Ruth Alene Treece, 93 of Majestic Oaks in Orange City, FL and formerly of Huntingdon County, PA, passed away on August 2, 2014. Born on May 9, 1921 in Cherrytown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Birdie Weaver Treece. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pine Hills. Ruth was united in marriage on August 17, 1938 to Allen S. Snyder, Jr. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Allen and by her daughters, Cathy Newton and Beverly Fix. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Joyce Race and husband Gary of Roscoe, Montana her four grandchildren, her nine great grandchildren and by her five great great grandchildren.

Visitation and Services will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 10:30 AM with the service to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.
