Sandra Ellen Pelaquin, age 37, of Orlando, passed away on Sunday July 1, 2018 peacefully in her sleep at home from complications of a lifelong kidney disease. She spent her whole life in Orlando, attending Pine Castle Elementary School, Walker Middle School and Oak Ridge High School. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Her determination to be there for her children through her illness inspired many others. She loved her family and friends and always had a smile to share.
Sandy is survived by her son, Torrance; daughter, Tyana; mother, Debbie Moser; stepfather, Scott Moser; Father, Russell Pelaquin; second mom, Suzi Pelaquin; sister, Christina Ganley; brother-in-law, Joe Ganley; nephew, Jackson Ganley; niece, Anna Ganley; brother, Neil Lachowicz; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was welcomed to heaven by her Lord and Savior, her grandparents, and other family and friends that have gone before her.
Sandy's wish for you would be, "Spend time with your children, eat Old Dixie Fried Chicken with your loved ones, and go to a "New Kids on the Block" concert with friends. Love always, laugh often and forgive freely."
A celebration of Sandy's life will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Windermere, 300 Main Street, Windermere, Florida 34786. A reception will immediately follow at the Winter Garden Elks Lodge #2165, 700 9th Street, Winter Garden, Florida 34787. Feel free to bring a favorite photo of Sandy to add to her memory board.
