Shirley Carver

Shirley Mae Carver, 71, of Statenville, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Valdosta.  She was born May 21, 1949 in Baxley, GA to the late Maloy and Lona Mae Williams.  She was a retired cook who enjoyed quilting and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  One of her favorite things to do was to travel with her sister on their “Sister’s Weekend.”

She is survived by her children, Terrie Perez, Tammie Farmer, and Tyson Carver; grandchildren, Tristen, Alanna, Erica, Michael, and Mariah; siblings, Rita, Allafaye, Carolyn, Sonny, Randy, and James; four great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, KC.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 pm. Burial will follow in Ocoee Cemetery, Ocoee, FL.
