Shirley Sue Ragan passed away on September 2, 2026, from complications following a fall. She had also endured a tough fight with cancer, which contributed to her death. A lifelong resident of Winter Garden, Shirley was an avid reader and a wonderful dancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Leslie Aplin; her son, Jerry Ragan; and her sisters, June Fleming, Sylvia Gann, and Vicky Anderson.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 69 years, Jimmy; her daughter, Renee Provini (Michael); her sister, Melba Ard; her grandchildren, Matthew Inklebarger, Jamie Gadoury (Gene), Nicholas Provini (Vanessa), Jacob Ragan (Lyndsay), and Jared Ragan; and her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Nicholas, Cameron, Steven, Logan, and Lucas Willow.

Affectionately called Mimi by all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and their friends, she never forgot a birthday or anniversary and tried to be at every event they were involved in. She kept up with everyone in the family, always knew what was going on, and everyone looked forward to her calls. She will be greatly missed.
