Valerie Kay Kinker, at the very young age of 46, went to sleep in peace the morning of June 1, 2025. Valerie was loved by many, including her son (Ivan), Father, Michael Kinker (Ane), Mother, Carol Matthews, her sister Angelique (Giovanni), her close companion and friend Christian, as well as her aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was loved deeply by her grandparents, Norma and Carl Kinker and Kathleen and Frank Diefenderfer. Many remember Val for her creative, intelligent and sweet nature. Val was a skilled artist (painting and murals), musician, great cook, lover of animals, and was someone who would always share what she had with others. There is so much we can say about "Val", but what we can all agree on is we won't be the same without her.
A Father’s Love
“Only each heart knows its own joy and its own pain”
On March 4, 1979, my beautiful precious little girl, Valerie Kay Kinker “Val” was born into this world. It was love at first sight, and an immediate unconditional love I had never felt. The love only a Father and Mother can comprehend. I’ve never loved anyone any more than I loved Val and the hole in my heart can’t be filled on this earth. My only solace is our assurance as believers in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior that we will be reunited with him and our loved ones and will never be separated again. Val was a Christian and was baptized in the church; this was one of the happiest days of our lives knowing this was eternal. Val loved Christian Contemporary music, and we shared many beautiful songs together until her last days.
Val was the strongest person I have ever known. Her body’s ability to endure astounded everyone and she never feared death because of her faith in what awaited us in “Heaven” after her first operation.
She left me with a beautiful part of her life, her son, Ivan, who I love dearly. Val is at peace now in Heaven with Jesus and all of our loved ones.
God bless her beautiful soul
“In my Father’s House are many mansions; if it were not so I wouldn’t have told you so. I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again; that where I am, there you may be also. ~ John 14:2-6
“But as it is written:
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Neither have entered into the heart of man;
The things which God has prepared for those that love Him. ~ 1 Corinthians 2:9
