Vernon Brown

Vernon Roger Brown, age 67 of Winter Garden, FL passed away on January 12, 2014. He was born in Hamilton, Alabama on April 12, 1946. He worked as a telephone repair man for Southern Bell in Hollywood, FL and in Central Florida prior to his retirement in 1979 due to a spinal cord injury. Roger was a member of the Home Owners Association of Crown Point Springs for many years as well as a member of the First Baptist Church of Central Florida. Roger is survived by his wife, Bonnie Brown his children: Carl Brown, Jeannie Brown Barry Mariner and Janet Brown McDermott his mother, Lorene Brown Carter his brother, Connie Brown his sisters, Glenda Metts and Lisa Watkins and by his grandchildren: Jordan, Jacob and Delaney Brown, Brittany and Ethan Mariner and Brennan and Blake McDermott.

A Celebration of Rogers Life will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Central Florida, 700 Good Homes Rd. Orlando. In his memory, memorials may be made to Operation Blessing International www.ob.org.
