Ada Green

December 14, 1923 — April 10, 2022

Ada C. Green, 98, died April 10, 2022 was born December 14, 1923 in Pennsylvania.  Her and her family moved to Maitland in 1941 and ran the Shady Grove Motor Lodge where she met and married her husband James of 60 years until his passing in 2002.  She was a longtime resident of Winter Park and and active member of Calvery Assembly of Orlando where she sang in the choir.  She was also in the play production of "The Life Giver".  In her free time she enjoyed drawing, painting, writing poetry and making lap quilts for the nursing homes in the area.  She is survived by her two children, son James R Green of Apopka and Susan L. Johnson of Ocala and preceded in death by her son William A. Green.  She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.  She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
