Obituary

Anthony “Tony” Watson Myers was born on March 10, 1943 and left this world on February 2, 2021. He was 77 years old. His love for adventure and need for discovery will never be forgotten. He worked as a union welder on the Alaskan pipeline and took his talents to the deserts of Saudi Arabia. His love of travel and need to provide for his family brought him to every U.S. state with the exception of Hawaii.

Tony will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, strong work ethics, and love of travel. He shared many a journey with his family encouraging the building of dreams, taking risks, and loving life. If needed, he would give you the shirt off his back and provide you with a roof over your head. He built a business to be respected and grew lollipop gardens to be remembered.

Tony was proud to be an American and served this country as a dedicated U.S. Marine. He believed in honor, respect, and determination. Traits that were admired by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sybil Myers; two daughters, Julie Leckie and Shelley Lippi (Kirk Lippi, husband); two grandchildren, Taylor and Devon Leckie; one brother, Wally Myers; and one sister, Winzie Pollet.
