Georgia Arnette

February 20, 1932 — July 9, 2022

Georgia Arnette., daughter of the late Viola Yeldell and Albert Yeldell was born February 20, 1932, in Newark, New Jersey. She became a member of her church at an early age and remained a Christian her entire life. Georgia graduated from Central High School and later attended Upsala University and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Georgia met and married the love of her life, Howard Arnette Sr., on February 25, 1956. Georgia faithfully served the people of Newark, New Jersey for over 20 years as a dedicated social worker for the Essex County Department of Welfare.
Georgia and Howard moved to Orlando, Florida in September 2000 where they joined the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Georgia was a strong quiet woman who loved God and Life. She was an avid reader and active member of her church and offered help to everyone who was in need. On July 9, 2022, Georgia passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her son, Howard Jr.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Yeldell, her sister Frances Small and her daughter in law Arlene Lopez.
Georgia leaves to mourn: a son, Howard Arnette Jr., her brother Albert Yeldell Jr., a granddaughter Cameron Lopez Arnette, a sister-in-law Helen Yeldell, a niece Grace Yeldell, and a host of nieces and nephews and many other loved ones and dear friends.
