Warren Lawrence Fountain

May 2, 1939 ~ March 23, 2022 (age 82)

Obituary

Warren Lawrence Fountain passed away on March 23, 2022 in Orlando, Florida and went immediately to be with Jesus. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 2, 1939, and was 82 years young. Warren was affectionately, and sometimes humorously known as Bubba to many of his friends and family. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 62 years, Sherry. He is also survived by his three children: Mike, DuWayne and Michele, and his five grandchildren: Mitchell, Kennan, Brennen, Haley and Michael.

Warren was a very devoted husband and father, who was fun to be around and loved to laugh, especially at himself. The more family that was around, the more fun he would have. He was a very good athlete who loved to play and coach sports, and he had the opportunity to play minor league baseball. He got on snow skis for the first time when he was in his 60's. He was always up for fun and adventure, especially if it involved lots of family and friends. Warren was a dedicated follower of Jesus and never hesitant to share that with others. He was a greeter, a deacon and an elder at church. I'm sure he was warmly greeted when he entered the Kingdom of Heaven.

Details and a date for the celebration of his life will follow.
