Julie Denise Crawford McWatters, 42, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Cornerstone Hospice in Ocoee.

Julie was born June 8, 1978 in Winter Garden, Florida to Thomas and Teresa Crawford. She attended West Orange High School, was a Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a Member of Quest Church. She spent her secretarial career working for H&R Marine in Ft. Lauderdale.

Her true passion was cooking and she frequently used her cooking skills for charitable events. She also loved watching Ohio State Football with her Dad. Her favorite place to be was near water, either at the beach or on a boat fishing.

Julie is survived by her husband Thomas McWatters; her children Kaitlyn Crawford and Ryan Stalvey; granddaughter Kelsey Waples; parents Thomas and Teresa Crawford; and maternal grandmother, Margaret Crawford. Julie is also survived by her loving rescue dog, Daisy Mae. She is predeceased by her brother, Nathan Crawford; paternal grandparents Vince and Mimi Crawford; and maternal grandfather Junior Crawford.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kate, Sheila and Michelle with Cornerstone Hospice for all their help.

A private funeral service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11am.  Burial will follow at Winter Garden Cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 Restrictions, the family has asked the that service be live streamed for those unable to attend.  A recording of the service will be placed on this website following the service.
